Your pet is a member of your family, and just as you have a first aid kit handy for all human members, you should have one for your pet, too. What to Include

If you prefer to make your own first aid kit for your pooch, here's a list of things that should be included:

Basic Supplies

Gauze pads
Medical tape
Antiseptic
Small blanket

Hydrogen peroxide (induces vomiting - only use if directed by a vet or poison control)
Ice pack

Vaseline (to lubricate a thermometer)
